Hello hello everyone! This week's been so crazy and amazing. It's crazy how much goes down a full week in the field I'm starting to think the mtc doesn't prepare you it's all about your will to preach and talk to anyone and EVERYONE! But overall been a good week and I've learned so much! You're probably wondering about my title to the email but I'll get to that. Me and Elder Sultan been grinding all week I've been encouraging Elder to start tracting a lot this week and we been hitting the ground running. Elder said he hasn't been tracting at all in his whole mission until now and it's blessed that we did bc we've found like a ton new friends and have so many lessons planned! Hello everyone I've officially been in the field for 3 days and it's been amazing! I landed in Oakland last Friday and was able to meet the mission president and meet my new companion Elder Sultan. Elder Sulton is amazing I'm already learning so much from him and he's already such a great example and he has so much faith. When I got here we went to the temple right away and got to go the the visitors center and for those of you who haven't visited the Oakland temple need to because it sits on top of temple hill and overlooks all of the bay area and its just so amazingly beautiful. After we met at the temple and got a short introduction we had to head out right away and because Elder Sultan can't drive before I knew it I was driving through bay area rush hour traffic and it only took us 30 min to get to our area but driving in a mission car and dodging people and angry drivers it was a wild ride. Hey everyone what's up?! Second and last week at the provo mtc and it's feelings kind of bitter sweet. I'm so ready for the field and I'm getting so giddy and excited but I don't wanna leave all the elders and sisters I've made friends with while I've been here. But oh well the lords work must move forward. This week has been amazing tho except I've been low-key cursed with the mtc sickness that like everyone is getting but no one can stay in sick so we all press forward and we all get the energy to play volleyball or basketball at the end of the day. Lol. I Def got the worst of it tho I've had it since Tuesday and it wasn't getting any better and Sunday morning was the worst of it but after I got done coughing and throwing up before church I got a blessing and was able to get to church and have a blessed sabbath and was able to feel the spirit which is all I've been wanting. Hello everyone it's been a whole week here in person mtc which is crazy bc I feel like I just got here but at the same time I feel like I've been in here for foreverrrrrrr. But you may have heard that they ran out of chocolate milk by day 2 but don't worry mom I'm still OK my faith grows strong from this milk drought...law of fast perhaps But the most mind blowing thing about the mtc is the people you meet and the wonderful spirit in everyone here! Everyone is so dedicated to their purpose and has such faith it's crazy it can move mountains! Me and my companion elder Hsu are quite the social bugs around here I feel like we know everyone. Some of our fav homies are the Dutch elders who we see everywhere it's kind of crazy we have classes different places and live different places but yet we pass them 10 times a day no lie I think the spirit wants us to be life long friend.
