The Provo Chocolate Milk Crisis

Hello everyone it's been a whole week here in person mtc which is crazy bc I feel like I just got here but at the same time I feel like I've been in here for foreverrrrrrr. But you may have heard that they ran out of chocolate milk by day 2 but don't worry mom I'm still OK my faith grows strong from this milk drought...law of fast perhaps


But the most mind blowing thing about the mtc is the people you meet and the wonderful spirit in everyone here! Everyone is so dedicated to their purpose and has such faith it's crazy it can move mountains! Me and my companion elder Hsu are quite the social bugs around here I feel like we know everyone. Some of our fav homies are the Dutch elders who we see everywhere it's kind of crazy we have classes different places and live different places but yet we pass them 10 times a day no lie I think the spirit wants us to be life long friend. My district is amazing but they wanna do everything together me and elder Hsu wanna do our own things or things with other elders sometimes and they don't let us lol. But it's all love and I love that we all look out for each other! Classes have been tiring because you stay focused every second and are doing so many practices. Not to brag but me and elder Hsu are super ahead and are really good at teaching the lessons with each other. We are on the same wavelengths mentally. I also think i show most the people i meet a picture of my nephew bc i love him so much and when people ask something personal about me i just say im uncle Kade :) and also i showed a pic of stets to a sister who had to say the opening prayer and she said it made her feel better so that's pretty cool!


But this week there was such an emphasis on deepening our conversion to Jesus christ which has been a great thing to learn about and its crazy how much you learn when you pay attention 25/8 and study hard and surprisingly living church life all day everyday hasn't made me grow crazy I've found its made me happier! But we still get some hoops in and it's crazy fun bc there are some crazy hoopers we got the all mtc team starting 5 locked (pic bellow) we are crazy. Lol. But I'm fr loving it here but I still miss my people ofc if you made it this far in the email I love you and miss you all. 


I know that this mission is gonna be hard But the gathering of Israel is the greatest work in the history of the world! And I'm apart of it! Christ love grows strong and you all have to power to share it feel it.

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
