The Lord Is My Light!

Hey everyone what's up?! Second and last week at the provo mtc and it's feelings kind of bitter sweet. I'm so ready for the field and I'm getting so giddy and excited but I don't wanna leave all the elders and sisters I've made friends with while I've been here. But oh well the lords work must move forward. This week has been amazing tho except I've been low-key cursed with the mtc sickness that like everyone is getting but no one can stay in sick so we all press forward and we all get the energy to play volleyball or basketball at the end of the day. Lol. I Def got the worst of it tho I've had it since Tuesday and it wasn't getting any better and Sunday morning was the worst of it but after I got done coughing and throwing up before church I got a blessing and was able to get to church and have a blessed sabbath and was able to feel the spirit which is all I've been wanting. So that's bless. But don't worry mom I feel WAYYYYYY better today and yesterday it's like I was never sick kinda wild how powerful the priesthood is! But believe it or not that was not the craziest miracle that took place at the mtc this week. Last Tuesday so last pday we had a devotional like we do every week with a general authority and it's always amazing and everyone hypes up these devos  so I was sooooo hyped to feel the spirit at this devo. I decided I was gonna join the choir with elder Hsu and all the other people in my district and who would of known how much the spirit guided that decision. But as the choir practice started before the devotional it went on as normal and we practiced a rendition of I know my redeemer lives but all of a sudden halfway through practice the power goes out in the whole mtc and apparently most of provo had a power outage. Confused and hoping the lights would turn on we continued the practice and finished the hour long practice in the dark. Once practice was over we had like an hour till the devotional was supposed to start and the choir director excused us for a break bc she didn't know if the power would turn on but in an act of faith not a single missionary left their seats we all said a prayer together all 1000 of us in the choir and faithfully stayed in our seats for the break. We then after the prayer started singing some powerful hymns as a choir and it was just amazing singing songs like the lord is my light and called to serve and you could feel the spirit BUZZING all around the room it was amazing we all sang for about an hour and then when the choir director realized the power probably wasn't gonna come on and the devotional was already supposed to start so she said they were gonna invite the general authority in so we could sing him the number we practiced then we were gonna just dismiss and leave and no devotional. As elder Newman part of the Sunday school presidency(ik cool name) walked in you could feel the spirit so strongly and he said a few words and just bore testimony that the savior loves us and told us to give us all we had. So we then performed the beautiful number I know my redeemer lives (I reposted the vid on Facebook) super loudly and spiritually and on the very last note we all sing "He Lives" and guess what happens. The lights start flicking on super dramatically then the projectors turn on and then all of the lights turned on and we all cheered in joy and praised joy to christ. I couldn't stop crying and sobbing to elder Hsu I was so happy because I wanted to hear the devotional and we were all so faithful the lights would turn on and they did it was amazing. I just wish you all could of been there because it was so spiritual and I don't think I ever sobbed ever so hard in my life and elder Newman gave an amazing talk and his wife was so sweet and gave an amazing talk too I got a Pic with the guy after bc he has a cool name Pic down bellow. But this spiritual moment just came to show how LITERALLY ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE with faith and prayer it's amazing. And everything is God's will and we must trust in it! It's amazing how much I've learned for just prayer , faith, and scripture study I challenge all of you to read chapters 11-18 in 3 Nephi because it just is so powerful and testify that christ lives and he is our light and we can do all things through him!
