Morgan Wallen Helps Preach The Gospel

Hello hello everyone! This week's been so crazy and amazing. It's crazy how much goes down a full week in the field I'm starting to think the mtc doesn't prepare you it's all about your will to preach and talk to anyone and EVERYONE! But overall been a good week and I've learned so much! You're probably wondering about my title to the email but I'll get to that. Me and Elder Sultan been grinding all week I've been encouraging Elder to start tracting a lot this week and we been hitting the ground running. Elder said he hasn't been tracting at all in his whole mission until now and it's blessed that we did bc we've found like a ton new friends and have so many lessons planned! But I was low key struggling one morning this week and wasn't focused and was really missing all my people and it was perfect I had my meeting with president lash because he knew exactly what I needed and we had a great talk getting to know each other and it was supposed to be a 15 min long interview and it was like 45 min of us talking through some amazing things and having a good cry together he really understands me and I'm so blessed to have an amazing president! But it was amazing right after our interviews we hit an in n out in concord which is wayyyyyy different than Richmond it's like the suburbs and people there are country. But their were these girls who were decked out in cowboy boots and cowboy hats and elder Sultan thought it was so funny and he hears me talk about Morgan Wallen and he's like that's what they wear at a concert huh? And u was like yea should I ask them like kind of joking and then they actually ended up sitting next to us so I asked them if they liked Morgan Wallen and it turned out they were literally on their way to the concert! I was like no way my family just went without me and then they were asking what our name badges were all about and we explained who we were and they thought it was so crazy how we leave for 2 years just to do what we do and we were like yea it is crazy but we just love christ so much and want to teach others. And it's  crazy how some people say things that we as the church of Jesus christ have the answer to. But one of the girls Sais she loves christ so much but she doesn't like her church that she goes to because she said it totally changed from when she first joined and she didn't think it matched up with what the Bible taught and I was like AINT NO WAY SHE JUST SAID THAT. because I was like I literally have the answer but we sadly weren't the missionaries of that area but we told them about the book of Mormon and they sadly shut it down but they knew where an lds church was and we told them to consider and pray about trying it out so i feel like we Def planted a seed and all because I asked if they liked Morgan Wallen. But anyways on a serious note we've just been talking and talking to everyone I'm starting to think that people don't think we are religious weirdos but people think that we are angles we've been told that a few times but those are usually the people under the influence of something else lol. A chapter this week from personal study that totally hit me different about missionary work and I feel like it Will help all of you guys was alma chapter 26 the whole chapter is just amazing and we can learn a lot from it about christ and our responsibilities to preach his gospel on earth!
