Hey yall!!! Another great week in Oakley! It definitely had its ups and downs! The good news is this week we had transfers and I'm staying in the area! I'm so hyped! This is the first transfer here in this area where I actually wanted to stay and was excited to stay! Not saying I wanted to leave....but things are going very good in the area and with the ward and with my comp so I'm happy to stay! The bad news from this week is I may or may not have hurt my back pretty bad lol . But I'm feeling a little bit better just moving slow with a lot of discomfort. I did have to spend 3 days resting in the mission home! It was an interesting time...kinda boring but sister lash treated me so nice she fed me so much! I definitely gained a few lbs from the weekend! I also got to go to taco bell with the mission president haha turns out he's a taco bell fan too! Haha best lunch so far! Besides all that no major updates just ready to grind another transfer with Elder Allen! I alre...

Lil short email this week! Had a fire pday so I'll make this quick! Started teaching 3 new people this week who are literally elect and 2 of them want to be baptized wild! And the other walked 45 min in the heat to church! What a beast! We had MLC this week for anyone who doesn't know what that is basically a bunch of mission leaders get together and council about things in the mission. But it was good and actually productive! We get to go to the temple once a transfer now instead of once a quarter! Happy bout that! I love you all! Invite for this week! Read Patrick Kearon's talk from last conference! Banger! Ok bye!

Hey Yall! Another great great week! Alot happened this week let's see how much of it I remember lol! First of all the members here in Oakley and in the ysa wards are just so faithful and amazing! It's truly inspiring!  To explain basically we've have a new goal this transfer as a mission to get 1 baptism per companionship THIS TRANSFER! And we put it up in our area to 1 each ward! So a goal for 2 in our area! And this is a tall task for us but the members are so faithful! They're amazing! We let all our members know and now we are going to have a ward fast in each ward and we have already gotten so many refferals from members! Absolutely blessed! Also one of our youth and recent converts Devin wanted to help by going tracting with us so we've been grinding with him on that lately! He's a beast future AP for sure!  Besides those miracles it was a busy week of meetings and trainings we had to lead. Low key missing my old comp Elder Odupolu because showing another ...

Hello hello everyone!! It was another great week out here in Cali! We had a transfer this week and sadly I had to say goodbye to Elder Odupolu :( I'm gonna miss him we had such a great time together! But I'm excited for this transfer! My new companion is Elder Allen! He's from Tremonton Utah! Second comp from the factory lol! Elder Allen is so funny! We are already having so much fun! I'm also technically supposed to be training him as a Zone leader which will be interesting bc I don't even know how to be a zone leader myself haha  jk not really tho!  This past week we had an amazing lesson with our friend Angel he's a retired professional soccer player and now he just lives with his wife and dog simba and coches little kids soccer. Literally so adorable it makes me want to throw up...jk not really tho! We also had a friend finally come to Church!!!! It's been a minute since we've had someone come to church off of our own efforts. It's tougher out he...

NOTHING MUCH! WHATS UP WITH YOU!  Sorry had to do that one we like to have fun here! We'll I hope you all had a good week this week! I for sure had a great week!! Lots of exchanges again this week. Some that made me sad some that made me glad!! Not gonna get into any details but sad how some missionaries are spending the lords time here! Anyways let's talk about the glad exchanges!  Had a fire exchange with an Elder by the name Elder Lord! Isn't that name sick? Anyways it was one of the best exchanges I've had ever! He's a beast! He's from the factory but he just wants to get to work and I love it! I always appreciate working with elders who are just ecstatic about doing missionary work!  Not too much happening here besides exchanges! We pushed our friend Glenn's baptismal date back to June so please pray for him! We love Glenn so much here he's like literally one of my best friends no cap! Also pray for our friend Rodrique! He said he's pulling up t...

Howdy yall! It was another great week in the service of the lord! Let's just say this week was a lot better! I feel like I was able to have a lot of powerful spiritual momentum! Thanks to the temple! I can definitely see why the prophet always tells us to go to the temple because it truly is the lords house! And I'm so thankful for it. I've been doinf good but I just needed the temple this week! I wish I could go every week haha! It was just so peaceful and I found a crazy answer to a question I didn't know I had! Very sacred and very awesome! But we had lots of success this week testifying of the gospel! So many people here don't wanna hear what we have to say. So when we run into like 1 person who is kind enough to hear us out it can totally change our whole week!! So it can be difficult when you go weeks without successfully sharing what you know can change quite literally every single life that comes across our path. But we endure!  Also this week I had an excha...

Hey yall! Another great week out here in Oakley! We had just a great week filled with so many things! Especially general conference! Highlight was definitely zone training and my interview with president lash! It was a long 2 trainings! Haha and I was so tired. We were at the church building from 9am to 5:30 pm! I was cooked! But my interview with president was so great! I'm just so blessed to have a fire mission president!  Another highlight ofc is general conference! I wanna hear some of yalls favorites! I have to go with president Holland as my favorite ofc! He came back from the dead and literally was testifying! You could see in his eyes he knows without a doubt in his mind that Jesus is the Christ and that the gospel and this church is true! Just blew me away! I'm so blessed to be a part of this work! It made me realize the power of our prayers and helped me see how many people are praying for us missionaries! Makes me so thankful!  But I don't really have anything el...
