This week really flew by I feel like when the time comes to write emails I forgot what happened this week lol. But we had zone conference that's always a bucket! It was really spiritual and I felt I learned alot that I was able to apply right away!  One really cool person we met with again this week was a returning member named Aiza! She is literally the best example of exercising faith she literally moved to the United states for a certain boyfriend and literally broke up with him because she's getting back to the church and right away started paying Tithing even tho her member records aren't even in the ward yet! She's crazy and just wants to get right with the lord! What a beast. We taught her about the restoration and when we asked her who she thought of when we said prophet she said Gordan B Hinkley! Hello everyone! Happy pday and I hope you had an amazing week! This week was so amazing! Highlight was definitely this weekend we got to baptize our friend Christopher!! And i was lucky enough to confirm him! And i got to see my old comp Elder Kohler dunk him in that water!!! Thanks for your many prayers for him! And please continue to pray for him he's amazing! Besides that highlight from the week it's been a pretty great week! We had so many spiritual and sacred experiences this week we got to visit the house of the lord as well and got to do an endowment session. The love I have for our father in heaven and for his son Jesus Christ is so full whenever I get to go through the temple! I am forever grateful for being able to enter the house of the lord. I never want to take the temple for granted ever again in my life. It's somewhere we need to be often!! And I testify that we do need to go! Anyways I wanna hear how yall are doing! Wow what another great week in Oakland! I am truly blessed to be serving in Oakland especially at this most crucial time in these latter days!! Anyways some highlights from the week! I went on an exchange with Elder Mallory from St. George! He's really cool and he's also 100% deaf! But he does have hearing implants so he hears normally with them in kind of crazy how technology works! Anyways I had a good day with him with many miracles he has such a strong testimony in this restored gospel. His favorite line to say is "God bless Joseph Smith" he really loves the restored gospel! A funny story from the exchange was that I forgot to change into my shoes after my study so I was mobbing down the streets of Oakland in birkenstocks for a couple hours on accident! Haha the real ones know that this was a blessing in disguise!  Throughout this whole week we saw many miracles! Wow what a crazy week and great start to the new year! Many miracles again and just some classic Oakland madness! But this week sadly I had to depart from Elder Kohler....well he left me actually he got transfered to San Francisco!! And I stayed here in Oakland!  But I'm training new missionaries again but not just training but double training! I'm not sure why they trusted me with 2 brand new missionaries but I'm blessed for the opportunity! And im still district leader! Oh boy. My new companions are Elder Oliphant from Wisconsin and Elder Ochoa from near Houston Texas! They are beasts and they love the gospel and love Jesus christ! I'm just so blessed to be able to partake in the work of the lord with them!  This week was crazy tho at fast and testimony meeting we had someone bare testimony about psychedelic drugs and how they're the answer to life's problems so I was scared for my new elders I thought they were gonna wanna go home after that testimony meeting...

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it.
