I'm A Dad Again

Wow what a crazy week and great start to the new year! Many miracles again and just some classic Oakland madness! But this week sadly I had to depart from Elder Kohler....well he left me actually he got transfered to San Francisco!! And I stayed here in Oakland! 


But I'm training new missionaries again but not just training but double training! I'm not sure why they trusted me with 2 brand new missionaries but I'm blessed for the opportunity! And im still district leader! Oh boy. My new companions are Elder Oliphant from Wisconsin and Elder Ochoa from near Houston Texas! They are beasts and they love the gospel and love Jesus christ! I'm just so blessed to be able to partake in the work of the lord with them! 


This week was crazy tho at fast and testimony meeting we had someone bare testimony about psychedelic drugs and how they're the answer to life's problems so I was scared for my new elders I thought they were gonna wanna go home after that testimony meeting but they thought it was great! They are already embracing the bay area!!! But fr tho it's still crazy here but it's just so normal to me now and finding people is just such a fun time because of all the personalities you meet!


I guess the spiritual message this week is that pure joy comes from Jesus christ at any point in your life. In hard trials we can choose to feel joy through the savior. His Atonement can change us and we need to use it. On my mission I've come to see myself just absolutely change because of the atonement and learning more about my savior! I invite you to read the living christ we read it every Sunday and it gets me pumped....literally the atonement is crazy I used to not be able to fast more than a meal and now I'm fasting 24 hours like it's nothing thanks to his atonement! Amen ok that's all

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
