God Is Going To Work Here!

Hello Goodmorning everyone! Sorry I haven't been great on sending emails lately! But the work has been so so good here! Idek where to begin! 

First of all we have transfers this week and sadly this past week my companion had to leave me! He was asked to be our mission presidents assistant so he had to pack up early and move to Berkeley. But in the meantime I have Elder Newbold who is an amazing elder from Oklahoma! He's a greenie learning Spanish so idk why he's in my English area. Haha but he's loving it! 

But we have a baptism this week! For our friend Taylor! She's grown so much and she's just so excited to be baptized! We also have 3 others on date for baptism thus upcoming transfer which is crazy! All in the YSA! I love this ysa and it's small so 4 baptisms in this ysa is a huge deal! All the friends on date for baptism as well came to church yesterday! So they're progressing well and keeping commitments! 

We also ran into this kid on exchanges named Anthony who had previously met missionaries but never kept in contact. But we met with him this week and we learned he basically grew up in the church but never got baptized. We had a lesson and he wanted to be baptized so we set a date for him! And he came to church yesterday and loved it! Shout out Anthony!

God is working wonderful miracle in our area and it's so cool to see what a little bit of faith and hard work can do! Anything is possible!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
