B-dubs And Baptisms
Sheesh well lots has happened these last two weeks!
First the bad news. Our friend max who was so cool and so elect called us up last week and said he didn't want to get baptized and meet with us anymore. So prayers up for max that he finds his way back to us!! We still have contact with him but I think someone showed him anti. Devil works hard but we work harder!
Great news is our friend Kelly is gonna get baptized this Saturday!! She's been coming to church the last couple of weeks and we took her to see a baptism. After that she wanted to be dunked too! Let's go!!! Mostly bc she wanted it to get it done before Elder Wolthuis dips for the Netherlands! So we meeting with her like 3 times thus week before the baptism! So hopefully it goes good prayers up for Kelly!
I love my brostrict bc after anyone in the district has a baptism we go to B-dubs and get some wings! Haha! Which is crazy bc we have a baptism like once a week in this district haha! It's crazy
A pretty crazy experience we had this week was we got a call on Saturday from a member in NorCal. She wanted us to go visit and give a priesthood blessing to her nephews daughter who was a little baby in the hospital. This poor 1 and a half year old was super sick and was in NICU. Such an adorable little family and they were so sweet and humble and grateful that we came to give a priesthood blessing to their baby. I honestly never felt so inadequate giving a priesthood blessing to anyone but the spirit was so so strong! The family was crying and they didn't even know anything about the church but the spirit was so strong. I'm grateful for the priesthood and the privilege I have to hold it and bless others with it! God is Good!
This week I've been just reflecting a lot about this great work I'm apart of! And thinking of what more I can put on the altar as I come to the last 4ish months of my mission. I've just felt a sense of the lords desires to have EVERYONE come to his fold. The lord desires us. It doesn't mean everyone we meet needs to become members of the restored church. But just spreading the light of christ through service and actions of love is enough! I know we all can do more! Especially me! God loves you all! And so do I!
