¡Yee Haw!

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend and was safe! I had a great weekend! We had some exchanges and had to be one of the better exchanges I've had! I was with Elder Fyfe from Alberta Canada! He was not a fan of 4th of July fireworks keeping him up all night! Yee Haw🤠🦅. But one of the better exchanges! We Excercised so much faith! The area he was in was struggling a bit to find people to teach and we Excercised so much faith the lord found them 4 new people to teach! Just such a testimony that the lord blesses our efforts when we put in the faith! 

God's plan is so perfect I've been having to rely on that more. My comp and I recently just have been pushing ourselves to be the best we can be. And pushing ourselves everyday! I might have pushed us too hard bc I injured my back again...oops. But momma didn't raise no quitter so we still have been pushing through and taking ice breaks for my back haha! 

I read some significant scriptures recently from the Book of Mormon that I didn't pick up the first couples times of reading. In 1 Nephi 6:5-6 it says 
"Wherefore, the things which are pleasing unto the world I do not write, but the things which are pleasing unto God and unto those who are not of the world. 6 Wherefore, I shall give commandment unto my seed, that they shall not occupy these plates with things which are not of worth unto the children of men." 

This was significant to me because it makes you think about how important every word in the book of Mormon is. How nothing written upon it is wasted space. So all the Isaiah chapters and war chapters that may be confusing...there's something there for us that applies to us. No matter who you are! 

I truly love you all and appreciate all the support and loving emails I get and the testimonies you share. One thing that matters most in this life is our testimony of the lord Jesus Christ! He loves you! I love you!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
