Peace In Christ!

Hello everyone! Just wanna start out by saying how grateful I am for those who support me (if you're on this email that means you) and for those who take the time to read these silly emails! This past week was actually so wonderful! I love my comp 
 Elder Allen so much! He means the world to me! We have a transfer in a week and chances are we will be separated...but we are enjoying and cherishing our time together! 

This week we were able to put our friend Peter on Baptismal Date! It is truly remarkable how the lord has prepared this man! He's a diligent scholor of the Bible and rejoiced when we told him of the book of Mormon and the restoration! Literally first week at church he asked how soon he could get baptized!!! I love the Oakley ward bc they just welcomed him so much shoutout to Oakley! 

It's amazing that the lord is blessing our efforts! We haven't seen much success but lately we've been blessed!!

Recently I read from one of my favorite chapters of the Book of Mormon which is 2 Nephi ch 2...absolute banger! If you want to know the answers to any question in life read that Chapter! But I love verse 8 

8 Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.

This just really helped me focus on my purpose as a missionary and just a disciple of Jesus Christ in general. There's just not a lot of people who know this!! And how great the joy that this message brings! So I gotta do something about it! I wanna just keep working harder! This works not about me it's about the lord and I'm starting to realize lately I gotta do more!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
