God Bless America!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Just wanted to send a short Lil email since I'm aloud to reach out for the Holliday! Had a good day today we had MLC in Oakland which took up most of our day and we had to be in early for the 4th. But I just felt so inspired to share my testimony of the book of Mormon today! Just finished reading it this past week for the 2nd time in my life and wow it's literally better than the first time I read it. That book has changed my life and grown my testimony in Jesus Christ, God's plan of happiness, and eternal families! I knelt and prayed this past week and followed Moroni's invitation and asked God in the name of Christ if it was true! And I felt i got my answer today that it was true! I felt the spirit so strong my heart wanted to beat out of my chest. A very sacred moment for sure.

 It just makes me think of how important it is to share the book of Mormon. Hate to say it but members of the church can just sometimes be too scared to share the book of Mormon. 

We can't have faith and fear at the same time. Share your testimony even if it doesn't get received well. I promise the lord will reign blessings upon you! One of my favorite quotes about the book of Mormon from an apostle is from Ronald A. Rasband and he says "The need is so great; we need to act now. I promise that you will be participating in “the greatest work on earth,” the gathering of Israel, as you are inspired to reach out to those who have been “kept from the truth because they know not where to find it.” They need your testimony and witness of how this book has changed your life and drawn you closer to God, His peace, and His “tidings of great joy.”

I couldn't agree more with that council from an apostle of the lord! We need to share the book of Mormon...ITS SO URGENT! I love you all so much! I just hit a year out on the mission and I just can't believe how much the atonement of jesus Christ has changed me! Let it change you!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it.
