Finally Met A Real Elder!

Heyyyy everyone!! This week went by sp quick holy moly! But obvious highlights from the week was zone conference!! We had 2 members of the seventy there it was honestly life changing!! Before this zone conference I literally have never met any general authorities before so I was hyped to finally meet some! It was Elder Sabin and Elder Dushku of the seventy!  


I probably couldn't talk about all the highlights of zone conference I'd go on forever but it was truly a mission altering experience!! But the best part was the day after zone conference we had our mission leadership council which was my first one! And it was like even better than zone conference not gonna lie. It was just pure doctrine flowing! And then at the end Elder Dushku asked if we had any questions and I raised my hand and asked..."could you give us all a shout out at general conference?" And he laughed and said "Maybe I can fit it in there" then he asked us if he wanted to hear what he had planned to speak about at general conference. And he literally gave us all the spoilers fr it was crazy. And he leaked the script and told us he's speaking after president Holland in the Saturday morning session so spoiler alert president Holland is making a comeback!!! Literally wanted to cry when I heard that news! 


Besides all those festivities we had a great week of missionary work! I think just about 90 percent of my meals this week were provided for me... Oakley is wayyyy different than Oakland these members fatten you up! But I'm so thankful and after a meal we get to push members to share the Gospel and invite people to church it's awesome!!! We also are thriving in the YSA ward here we are teaching like 3 more friends! It's amazing! 


I love you all my short spiritual message of the week will I guess be about the prophet! Elder Sabin and Elder Dushku Constantly testified of president Nelson being a prophet and you could tell those two men were sure witnesses of Jesus christ. I just know president Nelson is chopping it up with the lord daily to seek revelation for us in these crazy times! Just so grateful to have guidance. Jesus is the christ! And I know he lives!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
