I Think The Chiefs Are Causing Riots Here...

Hello everyone!!! It was another great week and no I haven't been harmed by any riots! Haha I just know all the niners fans here are salty. Yesterday was the first time in my life I think I haven't watched a super bowl...not even lying. I think I was probably a baby watching back in the day! I know my pops was putting me in front of that TV.  Lol anyways it was a great week! Many miracles!


One of the cool experiences we had was we helped a part member family move some things into a storage unit.  And the husband was a professional soccer player for the team here the Oakland Roots! I thought that was pretty cool! And they want us to come over soon to eat and share the Gospel with them!!! So service is a blessing! We found someone to teach! 


Another great miracle was our friend Moses made it to church finally. We were honestly scared for him to come to church because he's a little loud and he has pretty bad hygiene. But we got real with him and told him if we got him a ride to church he gotta shower and put on clean clothes. Which shouldn't be alot to ask but.... he did it! What a miracle! God bless Joseph Smith...anyways


The spiritual thought I want to talk about this week is centered on Christ ofc. But more focused on the sacrament. You ever thought why we take the sacrament? Well let's get back to the covenants we make at baptism. We covenant to keep the commandments to serve others to take upon ourselves the name of christ and to ender to the end. So when we partake of the sacrament which is symbolic of his atonement. We are promising these things all over again. So if you find yourself guilty of sometimes taking the sacrament just to take the sacrament. Remember what it's about. It's about repentance and making a new covenant weekly to do better than we did the week before. My mission has really blessed me in how I view the sacrament. IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS. So when we think about going to church what do we think about? Or do we think of Christ and think about how we get to renew that covenant! It's all about him! Keep him at the center. Sometimes it's just not about our worldly interests. Don't get me wrong he cares. But our relationship with christ needs to be our focus! That's all i got to say for today. Jesus is the christ he loves us so much!!!!! And so do i!!

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. Bc I'm an AZ kid but when you live in the top apartment with no AC it's a bummer!  Anyways a crazy miracle is our new friend Co...

New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
