Another Baller Week

Hello everyone it was another great week here in Oakland! Oakland is truly starting to become one of my favorite places on earth. It's not very pretty or pleasant or anything but there are some of my favorite people here! And that's all I could care about! But for all those worried about me no need to worry I love it here and Oakland is actually safe.... If you're not silly. Anyways. I love it here 


One of my favorite things about being a missionary is being led to people who you know God needed you to meet that day! It's so crazy and miraculous how guided we truly are. The holy ghost is real and it is with us! We also had a miracle happen. We had a few friends actually come to church and we were a little scared because it was fast and testimony meeting in the 9th ward. But the miracle was everyone who bore their testimony had it centered on Jesus Christ. No sketchy testimonies about psychedelics or drugs or horse tranquilizers. So it was a great sabbath! 


Spiritual thought for this week. The restored church of Jesus Christ is amazing! This restored church is perfect! The people may not be perfect but this the lords restored new testament church is perfect! How can we know? Pray and read the book of Mormon. Is one of the simple things we teach new investigators of the church but spoiler it applies to those who have been members of the church their whole lives! And for those who have done these things or have a hard time feeling they have a role in this church or even if God loves them. I'm here to tell you he lives! He loves! And he knows you! And you have a role to play in his work! Stick to things you know to be true. Maybe you have a testimony of the word of wisdom or you have a testimony that God loves your family but haven't truly felt that love yourself. Hold on to what you know to be true. In the come follow me we learn of Nephi being obedient to his father and to God's commandments not knowing why he was doing it but knowing he was supposed to. But by his faith he was shown the truth of what his father prophesied and the true love God had for him and his family. And he had joy! Yall can have joy too! I invite all to pray and read the book of Mormon that's the best thing for you. And thus it is Amen. Lol

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
