Almost Christmas

To sum up the week I have never been so tired in my life yet never have felt so much Joy in my life! This week has truly been great but it was a blur! Lots of miracles and just grinding here in Oakland trying to find souls and not spending too much time talking to people under the influence of something. Anyways its been great truly blessed and I just love it here!


Highlight from the week we got our boy Noel on date for baptism! He's so cool and wants a relationship with heavenly father so bad! Hes a senior in high-school and he is set on reading his scriptures and getting baptized asap!! All I cared about as a senior in high-school was baseball and how good I looked but he is striving to make covenants which is amazing! So proud! 


Spiritual thoughts from this week is from our prophet! And I just love teaching others about the real name of Christ's Church but he says "To remove the Lord’s name from the Lord’s Church is a major victory for Satan. When we discard the Savior’s name, we are subtly disregarding all that Jesus Christ did for us—even His Atonement." President Nelson is a beast and is speaking facts here! I love when others ask if we are "Mormons" because it give me the opportunity to share the amazing name of the lords church and leads into my testimony of how this is the lords kingdom on the earth today! Truly amazing! And I get to do it EVERY DAY!

2)Our girl Debbie finally made it up to the temple!!!! The Andersons came in clutch 
3)Christopher is a beast and I'm more excited for his baptism than Christmas

WHAT A WEEKEND!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it. Only the purest joys can come through sincere repentance! I just love Christopher let's all pray I don't...
