Craaaazy Week!

Sheesh so much happened this week I'm not gonna lie. First off want to start by saying conference was just the most amazing thing and conference couldn't of came at an even better time it was amazing! I learned so much more about my covenants with heavenly father and learn more about what my perspective should be on my mission. 


President Nelson said it best "Think Celestial!" Couldn't agree more. Often times when it gets extremely hard I'll be thinking why the heck am I even out here or think why was I called here at this specific time. I don't think president Nelson could of said anything more perfect than keeping that eternal perspective. We all have a divine role in Jesus christ work here on earth and we gotta wake up! And we gotta get to work so we can be a hand in his work! There is just so much more to what we already understand and so much more we can learn I've really been needing to humble myself throughout this whole mission experience that's for sure! 


Besides conference being FIRE this week was so eventful. One of the highlights for sure was Friday. Friday we just had so much going on and we ended Friday with a bunch of crazy cool interactions. We met a new family who's like super interested who we visited last night and was able to schedule a lesson with! Then after that we got to say what's up to a bunch of neighborhood kids and pray with them so that was SICK. Then we went to visit a friend Laura who wanted us to teach all her kids and neighbors kids about Jesus so she made sure they all sat down and they all watched a Bible video with us of Jesus healing the blind man. It was so amazing and all the kids were so respectful and learned so much.


 It was a really humbling experience when the mom afterwards got super emotional with us and just let us know how much of a difference we were making in the neighborhood and she said she prays daily that the kids are safe and off the streets because it's pretty dangerous out here. We were just so happy to teach about Jesus! 


I wanna hear from everyone I want to know how your conference weekend was and I wanna hear your fav talks! Me personally thought Elder Uchtdorf had the best one but there were a billion good ones so lmk! 


I miss you all and hope you all are doing good love you all so much! 


Also I did get word from an anonymous source that the Diamondbacks did in fact make the playoffs so...... GO SNACKS!

Hey Everyone! Just checking back in after an amazing weekend of REVELATION! I love General Conference and the inspiring messages! I hope you were all able to tune in at some point and if you couldn't watch it watch it rn! The prophets voice is so powerful! After hearing his address there was a little bit of a sense that the second coming of christ is coming A LOT sooner than we may think! But also big news! A NEW TEMPLE IN QUEEN CREEK! I literally called it! Great to see the old hometown getting a house of the lord!  Besides conference this week was a good one! We had zone conference and it was focused on using the scriptures while teaching the doctrine of christ! So many scriptures that I wrote down!! Also this week in Oakland has been HOTTT. it's been getting up to 100 degrees in the bay which is unusual here. Usually I wouldn't complain. New Year New Elder

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  This week was so fast but it was a good one lots of miracles! A cool miracle was we met an innactive member earlier this week and we just had dinner with her tonight and gave her a blessing and she's coming to church this week! It was a miracle because we were tracting and happened to knock on her door she was so happy to see us and almost started crying! Just goes to show the lord truly guides us missionaries!  Our friend Christopher didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Everything is OK though he is still going to get baptized just needs more time understanding things and we are having daily contacts with him to help him! He's just come so far from where he used to be and he's going to continue to grow because that's one of the blessings that comes from the atonement and something that can truly change us when we use it.
