Shots Fired...Literally

What's up everyone! It's been another week here in Richmond and it has been amazing! This week was packed! We had alot of lessons but also too many lessons that fell through :( . But we are getting there.

Elder Hsu and I have been spending a Lot of time finding which is good! We had a good finding week but now we gotta see who really wants to learn about this message. But some of the coolest things I saw this week were just small miracles on how the spirit works through everyone if you allow it to. This is something as a missionary I'm trying to understand and recognize more because it is so mysterious sometimes but we have to act as missionarys we can't sit around and waste time thinking about what the spirit wants us to do because most often times just taking actions in faith just usually makes it work out. I was able to listen to a fire mtc talk from Elder Bednar this week about this topic and basically the end message I learned was to just keep moving forward in faith and to quit worrying about it!! Very wise words from an apostle!

I catch myself doing that too much worrying about if what I'm doing is right or if what I'm doing is the most effective thing. But at the end of the day I can't lose sleep about it I have to keep my faith in christ and quit worrying about all other factors because then I could miss a prompting from the spirit... CANT HAVE THAT!

Anyways yall were probably wondering why my email title is the way it is but basically we were having a fire lesson with our friend Mike and mid lesson a gunshot fired right across the street behind a house Maybe 20 feet from us and it scared the crap out of Elder Hsu and I. Luckily our friend Mike is a security guard and literally just came from work and told us we were safe because he too LEGALLY had his gun ready. Kind of eye opening but we went on with the lesson like nothing happened and it was still spiritual and Mike made us feel safe which was fire! But don't worry mom I'm find I feel safe always and people here know the missionaries mean no harm haha!

I do miss everyone even though I'm doing amazing I still miss yall! Text me and lmk how you're doing I'd love to hear from you. And my invitation this week if you are still reading this far is to listen to the Elder Holland talk called The ministry of reconciliation. It's such a good talk and I think everyone can benefit from the message!

If yall are still reading this far send me your fav talk or scripture that you've come by this week I would love it!
Have a great week and I love you all so much!
